Transitional Kindergarten

Children who are turning 5 after December 1st are not eligible for kindergarten. Irrespective of academic and social readiness, these children have to wait another year to go to Kindergarten. Keeping this in mind we have designed our Jr. kindergarten program to challenge and motivate our older Pre-kindergarteners.

This program emphasizes children’s independent work habits and academic skills by introducing phonetics, reading, writing, math, and science. Hands on activities and creative art give children an opportunity to use their imagination.

Group activities like dramatic play, puzzles and blocks, and outdoor play helps cultivate social intelligence by developing language, problem solving skills, and conflict resolution.
