2 Year Old Class Curriculum

Our day starts with a healthy breakfast and then we go out for our recess. We all love riding bikes, running on tracks and, of course climbing on play structures. We also enjoy our new dramatic play and kitchen area. Water play is our most favorite play.

After outside recess time, we come inside the classroom. We know our routine. We sit down for circle time on our animal rug. After the good morning song, we sing different songs, dance and, read a story. We also do alphabets and numbers, shapes and colors every day along with our days of the week song.

Every day we do some art project. We like to play with play dough, and like coloring, painting and, of course we like to play with glue, which is our favorite. All our artwork is displayed in our class. Please come and see our class every time you come to drop off and pickup. Don’t forget to see the lesson plan every week. I am big, but yet not big enough to go to the potty by myself so please wait for a few more days and I will be ready to use bathroom by myself. Believe me, by the end of the year we will be talking a lot, we will know all our shapes, colors, numbers, alphabets and lots of songs and stories.
